This book has both excellant theory and practical tips to avoid the death by powerpoint. Some of the material has been convered in the website but the book puts it together in a simplistic, flowing manner. Give this book to anyone whose powerpoint you hate and it would change the way we do presentations in a few years.

a real awesome book with great stories & insights to how little we know about our brains. the physiology of our brains has been so dry at times in lectures, this really livens up the topic and begins to let the reader ask and imagine the possibilities the human brain is capable of. if only we learnt out our brains before learning about other things in life....

An impractical necessity for Far Side Fans.

Awesome science book! The TV series is hard to come by, so I re-read this many a times. Great to get people hooked on embryology and developmental biology.

It was an engrossing read during my bleak military stint.
