Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are returning to boarding school when they are summoned from the dreary train station (by Susan's own magic horn) to return to the land of Narnia -- the land where they had ruled as kings and queens and where their help is desperately needed.

A classic allegory of good and evil based on Christian imagery. I highly recommend it.
Loved it - one of the best in the series so far (although I am still reading them chronologically!)
I just reread this in advance of watching the movie when it comes out on DVD. I still enjoyed it as much as I did as a kid.
Enjoyed it more than the 2nd one ("A Horse and His Boy") but still not as much as the first one ("The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe"). Can't wait to see the movie of this one!
