What is with Bella?

She's lucky Edward is forgiving, and if I were her, I wouldn't like Jacob after he became a werewolf, because he's a jerk, then a jealous jerk! Tricking her to kiss him, and she "loves" him? She punches him and kisses him later... Edward doesn't deserve her....
And though I don't like Jacob much, her building up his hopes and crashing him? Maybe she should wait until she's much older and mature to marry Edward, instead of marrying him and part of her loving Jacob! She should be saving all her love for Edward. And no, I don't blame Edward for her getting closer to Jake. I don't dislike Bella, but she needs to decide who she truly can't live without. Rant over, and apologies, keep in mind this is my opinion, and you have yours, so I respect that.

I agree that she is a immature and I she handled the situation terribly. Though the reason she fell in love with him is because he helped to heal part of her during Edward's absence. I agree with Edward that if it wasn't for him leaving that Bella might not have fell in love with Jacob, as he takes some of the blame after Bella and Jacob kiss. Her feelings for Jacob are in a way a result for her deep love for Edward. I don't agree that Bella should marry Edward until she is older, for superficial reasons, and also that she knows Edward is the one for her, no matter how else she may feel for someone else.

She loves Jacob at first, but Renesmee solves that problem. And I also think that the fact that Bella is a mom matures her a lot. She IS mature by the end of breaking dawn. Even though she kisses Jacob, that was because she didn't want her best friend to die! She honestly went through a lot and made pretty good decisions. She is one of my literary heroes and, though I'm not saying you're wrong, In my opinion she is an amazing character. Her up-bringing gave her many good qualities.
...I'll shut up now

I just don't like Bella period. lol. Edward is really awesome, and Jacob is okay, but he's such a jerk after he becomes a werewolf! Oii ... I didn't like Eclipse or New Moon very much, either. To be honest (like, don't hate me or anything), I think they're too much like soap operas. I did like Twilight, though.

I totally agree with you!

Bella is immature, altruistic to the point of self-destructiveness as well as sometimes being selfish, and has a very thick skull. After everything that's happened between her & Edward, she STILL doesn't accept the fact that (for some weird reason or other, aside from the fact that she's the only one who's mind he can't hear) he really does love her A LOT. If not he would've (a) drained her blood by now, (b) gotten bored or sick & tired of her by now, or (c) let her run off with Jacob & never see her again. But she seriously doesn't get it... She's very slow, & it's frustrating because she does have moments of brilliance & maturity, but they're so rare! >.<

I was okay with Bella in the first book, but the others just bugged me. She's moping around all the time in New Moon (thankfully Jacob saved that part of the book), then this one she's so indecisive and immature. I mean, come on, Bella, you made your choice with Edward, just get over Jacob! Stop building up his hopes and then ruining him!

I think part of what makes Bella such a believable character is that she IS flawed. No on is perfect. We all make irrational decisions, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

I must agree. Bella is a selfish, sob-story-giving, victimizing teenybopper. She has everything she needs with Edward but is so damn needy. Ahhh Edward please dont protect me I feel so guilty that Im gonna go make out with Jacob. What a slut. Anywho, the book was amazing, and I dont really hate Jacob. Boys will be boys. And whats the big deal if hes a werewolf. Bellas in love with a vampire. Anywho, I like both the boys and think both of them are too good for Bella.

If I didn't like Edward and his amazing family so much... Bella would really bother me.
I don't really care about being "young and dumd" either. She should have never led Jacob around like that. The bigger question is, would a real Bella do that? Here you have perfect Edward, perfect man in every sense.... Oh, and sloppy, smelly boy, jacob... Yeah, that's a tough choice!
