Ok, I am mad about the movie. And I know everybody is so exited and they think it is going to be great, but I think it will ruin it for me. After seeing the movie, whenever I read The Twilight Series again, I reeeeeeally hope I don't picture those actors in my head. I'm sure the actors will do ok, I'm not mad at themmm. I mean, I would totally want to be in Twilight the Movie. But the actors look all wrong. I guess they just can't find a human that looks even close to Edward. (I am on Team Edward, obviously.) And I am happy for Stephenie Meyer, it will make a ton of new people read the books, but I just can't get myself to be exited about this movie. Does anybody agree with me??

I too am a team Edward girl, and I think he was COMPLETELY mis cast. I am not sure ANYONE will fit however. You REALLY have to do your best to separate the book from the flick. I do hink Bella's actress was a perfect choice, but I do not like who they cast for Jacob. Oh well. Not anything we can do, but I am excited to see it,but more excited for Breaking Dawn in one month!!!

I think Jacob was the only one that was right, besides his dad. >< Bella was so-so, but Edward....! Come on now! Honestly, whose first idea of "sexy perfect vamp boyfriend" is that Cedric guy from HP?!?!?! what the heck?! Yes, I'm a little angry about the casting. Jasper isn't adorable, Alice isn't sprite-ly, Carlisle and Esme....well I guess they're so-so as well, Emmett isn't cuddly, but he IS big and muscular.....And I can't really remember who they cast for Charlie, but I think that guy looked like an alcoholic-unless I'm thinking of someone completely different and I'm just insane >> Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, to be completely honest, I wanted Toby Hemingway from The Covenant to be Edward. Idano why, but I pictured him as my Edward :\ And Stephen Strait as my older werewolf Jacob. ^^ Young Jacob is perfect, though, I think. It's Sharkboy! XD

the movie is going to suck! majorly.
my sister has always said how much she hates movies that are originally books.
i disagreed bc i never read the book.
but i read all three books, and i HATE the scenes i've seen of the movie.
i'm soooo disappointed!
edward is horrible! none of the vampires are pale.
bella is OK. but the actress' face looks too mad all the time.
i don't want to see the movie, but i'm like driven to it.
i couldn't stop reading the books.
so now i MUST see the movie, even tho i know i'm gonna HATE it.

As soon as I found out it was robert patterson who was casted as edward, I immediately thought of him as Cedric From HP. XD

But then again as everyone else said, when books are made into movies they usually arent as good. So we'll have to see :)

I totally agree! Edward is suppose to be so beautiful and the actor is just eh. I coulda chose better actors. Not sold on Bella either. I almost don't want to see it because I don't want it to ruin it for me.

I was upset about the movie at first, but now I'm just excited to see it.
None of the actors are really what I thought they'd be like, but I just think of the movie and the books as two completely different things, just the same type of idea. That's pretty much what it comes down to, after all.
Oh, but I am extremely dissapointed in the choice for Jacob Black. He is not at allllll what I imagined him to be.

Okay, I don't think that their Rosalie is anywhere near what Rosalie is supposed to look like. I mean, she's pretty and all that but she's not the most goregous person alive. But I really think that they've found some good people for most of the others. Renee is good from what I've seen... And unlike some people I think that Robert Pattinson is going to be a great Edward. OF COURSE you couldn't come close to what we've all imagined, what Stephenie has created Edward to be, but I think that Rob is pretty much as close as you could fine. I think that he's got that crooked smile down oh-so well.(Another Team Edward! ^_^) ANd the younger version of Jacob is pretty good. I don't neccessarily care too much about Jacob, but I mean you don't want them to totally screw someone up who is such an important character later in the series. You know what has really ruined the movie for me, before its even out?! The fact that they make the vamps FLY?!I mean, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Stephenie ever mentioned them FLYING. Running fast, yes. Flying, no. I just kind of think that this movie is going to be a total bust to those of us who are very dedicated fans to the books, and that they are just going to turn it into something weird.

I think the guy who played Peter Parker's best friend (forgot his name) in Spiderman can pull it off being Edward.
