Confessions of a Shopaholic...is now a big screen film!!
So I received a total shock tonight. As I was sitting in the movie theatre watching the previews and patiently waiting for Zack & Miri Make a Porno, to begin (which by the way I reccomend...VERY FUNNY!!) I saw an awesome preview for the new Confessions of a Shopaholic movie!! The release date is February 19, 2009 and I am definitely looking forward to this movie! The trailer was cute and funny! I will definitely mark my calendar!
I too, saw the trailer this past weekend....while waiting for "BH Chihuahua" to begin...and I have a totally different perspective. LOVED THE BOOK(s)...thought the trailer looked like a total bomb. Don't know whether it's Isla Fisher (I really don't think she should have won the part--but that's another story), or just the overall screenplay appearance (it all looked so dreary and colorless), but it left me feeling utterly cheated. I was so looking forward to this book as a movie, and I hate to say it, but it didn't excite me in the least :-(
