Quote-leftAmazing viewpoint into the life of Red Auerbach. It's like Tuesdays with Morrie for Celtics fans and those who love the NBAQuote-right

Quote-leftI have read 2 books by John Feinstein and both of them were excellent. This book was like listening to an old friend talk. The Red Auerbach stories were great. I have this book available for sale on Half.comQuote-right

Quote-leftGreat read.Quote-right

Quote-leftI loved this one almost as much as Bird's biography. Red is such an interesting character. I especially love when he insists his friend Adolph Rupp wasn't racist. He just didn't like anyone who couldn't play!Quote-right

Quote-leftMust read for any Celtics fan! Red is one of a kind and the stories will make you laugh out loud!Quote-right

Quote-leftTop read. Having read Feinstein's earlier books about stuff I wasnt really interested in (College Basketball, Golf), this one about NBA was a top read. Actually it is more of an Auerbach book and stories he tells. Since I was always curious about Red Auerbach, this makes it all the more interesting. Not much depth or analysis of Auerbach, just a collection of his stories and thoughts. Top stuff still, heartily recommended.Quote-right

Quote-leftGreat book! You learn about the birth of the NBA, and the Celtics Dynasty, through the eyes of the man who built it. A must read for any sports, basketball, or Celtics fan.Quote-right

Quote-leftHilarious stories, a great collection from the life of Red. Even a chapter with Feinstein's best friend Bobby Knight is a welcome addition.Quote-right

Quote-leftA wonderful storyteller with a wonderful story to tell. I don't know if Feinstein is more masterful in his writing of if Auerbach just sets himself apart with his class, dignity and awesome NBA record....Quote-right
