This book has both excellant theory and practical tips to avoid the death by powerpoint. Some of the material has been convered in the website but the book puts it together in a simplistic, flowing manner. Give this book to anyone whose powerpoint you hate and it would change the way we do presentations in a few years.
Visually, quite lovely. I also loved the ideas he presented on how to structure a presentation. I am trying to work more of his ideas into my presentations for this Fall's conferences. We'll see how it goes!
An excellent resource that I can only pray is adopted by 95% of presenters I've met.
really helpful. even if you aren't going to immediately switch to the minimalist style of presenting and get rid of all your bullet points, you will definitely find something to help you incrementally improve your presentations. I slightly preferred this one to Slide:ology.
It is a great book that got me into a lot of trouble at my new job. I recommended it to the VP of sales and he bought a stack for the whole office 3 days before my first presentation to the management team. Urg. The examples are great but most of the time it is unrealistic to give a presentation zen - especially if the audience is technical and expects "meat."

People using guns need to have a weapons permit. People who direct Powerpoint or Keynote slides at other people need to have this book.
Great book. I didn't buy all the Zen stuff but advocating a simpler, more visual, less "wordy" approach to powerpoints is on target.
Its a great book about visual thinking and presentation design
