Quote-leftOverall a good read. I was a little confused for a while but once things started to come together it was pretty good. I had to force myself through the first couple chapters because it started a little slow. I would have liked to know a little more about the secondary characters but since it was told in first person it was understandable how little we knew about them.Quote-right

Quote-leftAs vampire books go, i hated this one. The ending made me go ugh!Quote-right

Quote-leftThis was such a good book. I read it after I read Twilight, so it was weird to read about vampires being bad. But it was so excellent.Quote-right

Quote-leftThis book was not a bad book, just very different in several ways, the point of view, the tense, the outlook, and the ending.... Im not sure if much was accomplished by the ending but the definate portrayal that you get is a young teen struggling with, well... what young teens struggle with, with the added twist of becoming a vampire and wanting to do the right thing. there are places i would have liked to see explored further, like the relationship with the young girl at his school and , just exactly what was going on with his mom and dad on a deeper level? His brother wasnt a very deep character either and the only person you end up caring about in the end is Chris. All and all, i did like the book and i believe a lot of the bad reviews i am seeing are because the ending. sometimes we have to face that not all books will end how we feel they shoulld. I do not in the least regret reading this and i will pursue reading the author's book FEED .Quote-right

Quote-leftTotally pointless.Quote-right

Quote-leftThis book is different but entertaining.Quote-right

Quote-leftIt could have been better....Quote-right

Quote-leftSometimes interesting coming of age story about a boy who both grapples with typical teen issues and his fear of vampirism. Plot is occasionally weak; still an entertaining read.Quote-right

Quote-leftThe ending was the best part of the whole damn thing. And that wasn't too great either. I was so happy when I finally finished it. What a relief! It was just one BIG waste of my time.Quote-right
