A friend of mine told me that Rowling was writting another book for the series. One that takes place after school obviously with their adult life. It's the first I've heard of this so I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard it and knows for sure.
She claims that she will not do another one but she has lied to us before so it is hard to say
i don't think that is the case. she is publishing the tales of beedle the bard in december, but i'm pretty sure she's done with books for the actual series. unfortunately!
There's talk of her writing the "Scottish book", which has been deemed in the fandom as an encyclopedia. She hasn't said much about it, however, and much like "Scottish play" (aka MacBeth) she won't say it's title.
I hope she never writes again! She let me down with the last book, and I'm afraid I'll be weak and buy it if she comes out with another one. Damn her eyes.
i heard that she wasn't going to do any more on the series but she might do a book on harry's parents... but that was awhile ago...
well, she is publishing the Beadle the Bard collection for widespread distribution (funds go to charity). Could this be it?
possibly. because didn't she release a private copy of the beadle and the bard to someone in london like when it was first talked about?
Jo originally handmade 7 copies of The Tales of Beedle the Bard. 6 of them were for people she was close to and who had some sort of significance to her/the books. She made a 7th (because of the magical ties to 7), and auctioned it for charity (which Amazon won, and released summaries of the stories online). She got "permission" from the owners of the special copies to have the tales mass produced.
