Does anyone else think Harry Potter 7 was rubbish?
I mean, the whole point of the series was a school for wizards, and Hogwarts is hardly in the book!
Also, Snape (by far the best and deepest character in the series) dies, and Voldemort was given a crappy backstory (based on the fact that I can't remember it. And I would have remembered it if it was vaguely interesting).
I was really disappointed too. I've had the book for a year and I couldn't finish reading it, I quit about midway. Even my kids don't want to read it.
There were defiantly some loose ends, for instance, how in the world did he kill the snake-horcrux with the goblin sword? How did he know to use it and how did he get it? I thought all those people dieing in battle really had no place in a generally happy fun book about a wonderful wizarding school. Especially since they just showed up dead, and if they are such good wizards there is no real reason they would have died in battle.
You should have payed more attention then! Obviously the book was way to complicated for you! Anyway the book is called HARRY POTTER not Hogwarts. The story (believe it or not) is about a boy called Harry Potter. Not a school.
I dont think there was enough dieing, I was expecting a full on wizard war like WWIII or something. But all we get is a little battle here or there... kinda lame really...
I stopped reading Harry Potter 7 during the middle of the book where he, Hermione, and Ron ended up at the Seaside Shack. It just got too boring for me. I lost interest and never found out what happened. Oh, well.
I really didnt like the 7th book. She dragged the book so much that it was boring in the middle. She also killed a lot of people for no reason. The ending was very obvious
I really don't like parts of the book, like all the deads, the end and the fact that it give us more questions instead of answers; but i like it, it was a good end to the serie.
I just cry a lot with this book, specially with the death of Dobby and Remus. (I know it sounds a little childish but i was 13 when i read it)
The book sucked! I was like, wth does Voldemort die? harry wasnt even grievously injured during the final battle (which was REALLY cliche), yet half the school died. And i did not get the part about the goblin sword, it seemed like there were at least 3 swords and I couldn't keep track of who had what!
