The nanotech has one weakness: it self-destructs at altitudes above ten thousand feet. Quote-leftI like post-apocalyptical books since I read "Alas Babylon" in high school. So, I found this book fairly enjoyable except for the sexual references early in the book. I didn't find it to be too "dark". Wouldn't rate it as great, but a good read. I recommend Greg Bear's book "Blood Music" for a great book on nanotech - even though it's older, it ended up being somewhat prophetic.Quote-right

Quote-leftDecent pulp.Quote-right

Quote-leftA whole 'nuther take on the post-apocalyptic world genre...this time, it's nanotechnology that is sensitive to atmospheric pressure that is the cuplrit. Interesting characters and plausable technology make this book particularly gripping.Quote-right

Quote-leftThe author is pretty mediocre and fails to keep the reader gripped.Quote-right

Quote-leftA wonderful, contemporary post-apocalyptic novel about the effects of only mildly completed nano-tech on the human race {hint : it's not good}. I absolutely loved this book.Quote-right

Quote-left121 pages in, and i still dont care about any of the characters. this book is astonishingly boring, but im still hoping something interesting might happen. im very close to giving up though.Quote-right

Quote-leftPretty well done zombie novel. Nothing particularly new or unique, but fun to waste an hour to read.Quote-right

Quote-leftNanotechnology run amok!Quote-right

Quote-leftAlmost done, it's pretty good. It features some local NorCal geography and landmarks too!Quote-right

Quote-leftThis book is great if you are looking for a mediocre nanotechnology book. It is not a page turner and I had trouble caring about the main characters. But it is interesting, if you are busy and don't want to get so sucked into a book that you put everything else aside, but still want something to pass the time this is a good book.Quote-right
