Wow I really liked this book!! and I thought it was going to be really silly because of the aliens and such, but I'm really glad I gave it a chance!! The history develops really well, just as the other Meyer's books. It keeps you interested till the very end wich by the way I LOVED!! Oh and Ian... I want an Ian for myself!!
If you have never read science fiction, this is a great one to start with. However, please read this as is. I am definately a true crime/suspense kind of girl. You can not analyze this book or you will never finish! Stephanie is so talented and can really pull you in. This is definately worth the time it takes to get through all 600 and some pages.
I thought it was alright...not as amazing as Twilight but worth reading. It made me think of the little things I take for granted in life, like sunshine and emotions, and friends, and especially love.
Not a bad story concept and better written than Twilight on the whole. I'm not sure it fares very well artistically, compared to much of the rest of the sci fi genre. However, it was very readable, and I'm glad to hear she's doing a couple of sequels. I hope she keeps the narrative tight, and doesn't let them wander the way the last couple of books in the Twilight series did.
Much better than her better know trilogy. Loved the questions behind the book.
This book was a little hard for me to get into, but I am glad I read it. By the end I was finally involved in the characters enough to care what happened. I was happy with the way it turned out, it had a nice resolution to a kind of tumultuous existance.....
this book was so good, i couldn't put it down, made me cry really hard, Stephenie Meyer is fabulous, never fails to please
Very enjoyable read. A little slow in the beginning, but then I couldn't put it down. A little sci fi, a little romance, a little futuristic-ness - but entertaining, especially if you like Meyer's other work. Not a kids book, but maybe a young-adult to adult book, I'd say.
