One Ring to rule them all,

One Ring to find them,

One Ring to bring them all

and in the darkness bind them

In ancient times the Rings of Power were crafted by the Elven-smiths, and Sauron, the Dark Lord, forged the One Ring, filling it with his own power so that he could rule all others. Quote-leftThis is possibly the most over rated book in history. It was good, but I don't like Tolkien's writing styleQuote-right

Quote-leftA perfect book!Quote-right

Quote-leftAhm, I actually just read up to halfway through the 3rd book, it sorta dragged on and on and on... oh and what I *did* read was on the system of 1 week reading - 3 months break and lasted for about 2 year. Mweh. Not saying it isn't a nice book, though ... but it's ... too much. Plus, it was sorta tiring to read it since my English wasn't that good at the time when I read it and one has to admit it's got pretty difficult language. Oh well. Maybe in 50 years I'll give it another go. XDQuote-right
