Quote-leftIt was sooo sad! its such a beautiful book. of how she stood up to her own step mother only to have it turned on her.Quote-right

Quote-leftA very sad story about an innocent child who stood up to her abusive step-mother, only to become her next victim. And a father who balmed the child for her (birth) mother's death. Double-whammy. Luckily...her schools become her constant place of positive reinforcement and happiness. They saved her, as much as she saved herself. A very brave and strong character, who overcame the odds.
Hats off to Adeline!!Quote-right
