A fun, charming story that is flawlessly illustrated. Kohara's limited palette and woodcut style illustrations make a for a strongly graphic and beautiful style. I can't wait to see more books by this author.
Really charming. I love the woodcuts with the grainy, tissue papery ghosts seeming to hover over the page. The entirely orange, black and white palette is so effective.
