Plot twist?

So we all know what the big plot twist, but did you see it coming or was it just out of nowhere for you?

Unfortunately I had seen the first three movies before I read the books. Sometimes I wish I hadn't.

I had seen this movie before reading the book, so I knew Sirius turned out to be a good guy, and I think I remembered something about going back in time, but fortunately, I couldn't remember the logistics of the plot, so it was still a great page-turning ending for me. And I just finished reading it again, and I STILL couldn't put it down, even though I knew what was coming.

It was a shock for me, but I'm glad that Sirius turned out to be good.

It's hard to remember if I did or not because I read them when they first came out but I probably was surprised.

i guessed that sirius probably wasn't evil but i was still kinda suprised that i was right

I saw the plot twist coming and that sort of ruined the book for me. The only thing I didn't see was the fact that Ron's rat was actually a wizard. I laughed at that. Brilliant. The whole S Black thing was slightly disapointing. I wanted to be fooled.

I kinda thought something was off, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I was a little shocked when Sirius turned out to be a good guy, but I was completely blindsighted by Scabbers really being Peter!

I remember getting a British copy of this book from a friend over the summer of 1999. (It wasn't released in the states until September.)
It is my favorite book of the series, and I remember being very surprised by the plot twists, granted I was 10 years old at the time.
Finishing the final pages of this book, and reading through the many reveals that took place in them, is one of my most vivid reading moments. I was at my grandmother's house on Cape Cod and, after learning the truth about Lupin, my mom came into my room and told me I had to go to sleep. Of course, I had to finish the book, and I did, under the covers, by flashlight. Maybe the secrecy of my own reading contributed to my excitement at the twists of the conclusion.

Well it was such a long time ago that I can't really remember. But i think it was a shocker for me... a cool twist, but not expected. A truly great read ~Cheese
