Once upon a time, in a land you only think you know, lived a little girl and her mother . . . or the woman she thought was her mother.

A fun swift read with great illustration. A rollicking retelling of Rapunzel as an old west tall tale.
Fun, beautifully drawn and written by an author of fantasy books. I could not be happier - the heroine is smart and can look after herself and the hero is also smart and looks after himself in different ways. Story is tweaked and the ending is very satisfactory. Loved it.
I'm so used to Shannon's in-depth characterizations, this form doesn't give her that possibility. Cute story. A fun hour of reading. I'm probably more disappointed by the art form than by her writing. Oh well!
This was wonderful. Very funny, very well done. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
Fun book - Rapunzel uses her hair as whips against evil cowpokes and serpents.
Given my limited exposure to graphic novels, I'm basing this only on how engaged I felt while reading it. I liked the story but it wasn't as good as I thought it might be. Fun twist on the old fairy tale.
Not as great as I had hoped, but still a nice, solid girl power graphic novel.
