Twilight tempted the imagination. New Moon made readers thirsty for more. Eclipse turned the saga into a worldwide phenomenon. And now, the book that everyone has been waiting for.... Breaking Dawn, the final book in the #1 bestselling Twilight Saga, will take your breath away.
i hated every minute of it after Jacob's Book. I hate how Stephanie Meyer ended this. It was pointless.
this was good although it is completely bizzare in the sense that this book does not follow the twilight saga pattern we were used to from the first 3 books where everything was so careful between edward and bella. this book was good but extremely odd when fitting it with the rest of the series
Somehow even though this book was the longest, I finished it the fastest, and I had intended to read it slowly, not wanting the story to end. I absolutely loved the diversity in the three books, being able to really see what was happening with Jacob, as well as Bella's transformation. Edward is without a doubt one of my all time favorite male characters. His depth and emotion is amazing (even for a statue), and his undying love for Bella even at the cost of his own happiness is something to be desired. Bella and Edward are the Romeo and Julliet that had the happy ending. Star crossed lovers from the start. Don't even get me started on the Jacob/Renesmee hillarity, this is the first time ever that I'd been able to call something before I actually knew it had happened. And I must say I'm a little disappointed that the fight never actually broke out, it would have been unbelievable, but the fact that Bella was finally able to really see her inner strength and power was awe-inspiring. I truly hope Stephanie decides to continue this story, she certainly left room for a follow-up (or two, fingers crossed).
Sorry about that guys ... I finished this awhile ago.
anyways, I love it, yay for the Twilight Saga!!!
Enjoyed all 4 books....I am even looking forward to reading the next book.
I took my time reading the last book of the Twilight series. I did not want the Love Affair to end. I cried. It left a literary void I am trying to fill until Midnight Sun comes out... Having borrowed the books, I intend to purchase a paperback and highlight all the memorable phrases spoken by Edward. His prose was sheer poetry, hearkening back to the period of time in which he came of age. Tension filled pages, replete with the agony of abstaining from one's deepest desire, in order to preserve the source of said agony. Why does this work? There is much to be said for wanting most, that which is furthest from one's reach. When re-igniting the spark with your loved one, what is it that we recall? It is the Early days of courtship. The days of yearning for the unknown, that mystery - filled future, open to a myriad of possibilities, if only you knew which path to choose. . .
